Department of ultrasonography was founded in 1980, including five vice-chief physicians, two attending physicians, two family physician and two charge nurse, three of them have master degree in medicine. Every year, more than 500 hundred patients was examined by ultrasonography, and about 500 patients was diagnosed and treated by puncture guided by ultrasonography. Positive rate of patients is 70%.First diagnosis was right in 90% patients.

At present, we also possess most advanced international diagnosis facilites and workstation --- LOGIQ series digital color ultrasound system produced by American GE company, that can provide unique images with high resolution and definition so as to enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Clinical examinations of the tumors comprise nearly any part of the body. Routine examinations mainly include the diagnoses and differential diagnoses of the tumors in abdominal organs such as liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, alimentary tract, retroperitoneum, urinary and generative system tumors such as kidney, ureter, bladder, gynecological tumor such as uterus and ovary, thoracic tumors such as thoracic wall, mediastinum, peripheral lung lesion, superficial organ tumors especially for breast, headcervix and extrimeties, as well as peripheral vessel color doppler imaging and ultrasonocardiogram, etc.
