No. 2 Department of breast cancer was established in 1998. In this department, there are 9 surgeons (4 with Doctor’s degree and 2 with Master’s degree) and 12 nurses, among them 2 are chief surgeons, 4 vice-chief surgeons, 1 attending surgeons and 2 residents.

The surgical procedures performed each year are over 300 cases. In the department, the standard of diagnosis and treatment on breast cancer is strictly abided by. Meanwhile, it established a multidepartmental consultation team to formulate the best treatment plan for breast cancer patients. The doctors of the department actively participate in international and national academic exchange, and the scientific research and cooperation are developed between the department and foreign countries, such as US, Japan, Denmark, Sweden and Korea, etc.
