The premises was built up in 1995. It was later moved to the new building in 2003, including two floors, i,e, the 13th and 14th floor. There is a luxurious sickroom on each floor, and the others are the standard hospital rooms with two beds, the telephone and television, refrigerator, restroom and bathing room. Advanced equipment, high quality service and treatment attract the patients with various kinds of cancer. A total of 800 patients were admitted and 500 surgical operations were performed per year. Besides those from all over the country, the patients also come from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Japan, and even America and EC countries.

There are 8 doctors (a professor, two associate professor, three the staffs with master degree) and 34 nurses (some with BA degree). This is a general division, where patients of various cancers may be hospitalized. The patients here have the privilege for clinical examination (a special nurse will lead the patients to perform related clinical tests) and treatment (specialists from the hospital and others can be invited to the department in time to make best diagnosis and treatments).

A general ward-round is conducted every week and a case discussion every month.Skillful nurses here can offer the best service in the department. The aim for them is to cater the need of all patients, with their kind care and patience.
