Clinical interests

Cancer surgery for benign and malignant disorders of gynecology, urology and colorectum. This includes primary and advanced cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, urinary and colorectum cancer.

Research Interests

l Primary peritoneum cancerous physiology.

l Recurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer.

l Cervical cancer among the younger generation.

Other Responsibilities

The chief member of the China Cancer Research Foundation, member of Tianjin Cancer Association, also the chairman of the Professional committee in gynecological oncology, Tianjin Branch of Chinese Anti-cancer Association.

Publications and Presentations

Dr. Zhang has published over 50 dissertations in refereed journals, book chapters, and abstracts and invited commentaries.

His representative publication is about the primary peritoneum carcinoma which gained the honor of Excellent Dissertation Prize in the anniversary of the China Cancer Foundation.
