On May 29th, At the invitation of Prof. Xishan Hao, President of TMUCIH, Professor Pete Downes, Principal & Vice Chancellor of the University of Dundee and Professor Anne H. Anderson, Vice Principal & Head of College of Art, Science and engineering paid a visit to our hospital.

Prof. Xishan Hao, President of TMUCIH, Prof. Ying Wang, Vice President of TMUCIH together with Prof. Baocun Sun and Prof. Guoguang Ying, Director and Deputy Director of Tianjin Caner Institute and some directors of major departments extended warm welcome to the guests and had a very friendly and productive conversation. The both sides reviewed the remarkable progress what we have already made on scientific research and staff exchange in past few years, and aimed to explore extensive cooperation areas and strengthen high-level visits and faculty exchanges.

Accompanied by Prof. Ying Wang, Vice President of TMUCIH, the guests visited the main departments of Tianjin Cancer Institute including Departments of Immunology , Epidemiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and Core Laboratory. The two professors made a extensive academic exchanges with our researchers and faculties and was impressed by our hospital’s development scale and overall strength.

Through this visit, the both sides would like to build a platform to further promote the collaboration on medical, educational and research development. And hope to continue to work closely to advance the cancer research and contribute to strengthen the cooperation and exchanges of both institutions.
